so long and thanks for all the fish.
Poor home tables. and some away ones.
poor clubs, especially table positioning.
Poor whites, boooorrrring? I already refuse to go to certain clubs for some/all these issues.
Poor handicaps? Giving 60-70 start, 5-10 years ago i use to average 55 points per game??? i've improved but not that consistent. Urmston league has a capping system.
Final nail in the mausoleum, poor etiquette, for those responsible, look it up you might not know what it means.
I'm playing well, finished 1st in the Urmston league individual standings, but nearly last in the Garston, WHY? See above.
so after 27 seasons over 32 years, goodbye.

You slate the handicaps although when you win the league last season all was ok????
You moan about your home table but don't contribute to the upkeep of the tables??
Vmh pay all league fees for all 3 of your teams which is about £500 per season,
Surely as a team you would rather pay this yourselves about £20-£22 per person per season then maybe the club could invest the £500 in the upkeep of the tables.
It's not rocket science that clubs are struggling but not contributing is only going to add to the struggle.
On the etiquette part then that is something to bring up at the monthly meeting, all I will say is that when any team comes to play at Woolton they are treated with respect and play on tables that are of a good standard with proper match balls but then all the snoooker lads contribute to keeping it this way by having our own snooker committee and do things that generate money for only snooker use.
