on Friday, September 20, 2013 St Christopher's began the defence of their title against the Charlie boys of VMH, Tony Cook and Andy Pinder gave the visitors a good start with victories over Gary Gilbert and Rob Henry respectively, John Ogrady then gave the hosts a boost by defeating Andy Molyneux, new signing Alex Millington then gave the visitors hope of winning the match by beating fellow debutant Brian Soundie, but the hosts sealed a win with Will Neill beating Matt Jackson...a tough season lies ahead for the current champs, but there's a familiar cliche, there's a long way to go. Onwards and upwards! |
