After seeing numbers dwindle year after year of people attending these one day competitions, I decided it was time to revamp the handicap system to hopefully open up the competition and attract more entrants.

The new system takes into account the following:

1. The league you play in.
2. Games won/lost.
3. Average points scored/given away.
4. Breaks.
5. Previous competitions won/runner-up.

All handicaps are based on your average game over a 3 year period and this new system will hopefully allow more people to enter with the confidence that they have as much chance as anyone else.

A typical example with my new system would be an average C league player against a top A league player can expect a start in each frame of around 50!!!!

A copy of all the new handicaps are being distributed to every club but should you wish to know your handicap in the meantime then please feel free to drop me an email and I will let you know.

SO COME ON!!!!!!!! FOR A FEW ££££ ENTRY THERE IS HUNDREDS* OF POUNDS TO BE WON!!!!!!

*Prize money on the day is dependant on number of entrants but the league always make a generous contribution to the prize fund.
