At the end of the season of the Norwich & District Billiards and Snooker League there
are still matches to be completed. In the First Division of the Open Snooker,
Woodside Warriors remain leaders on 116 points, Woodside Rockets are currently in
second place with 106 and Broadland A third with 101 points.
Woodside Dragons are champions of the Second Division with 127 points with a
match to complete. Woodside Wizards are confirmed as runners-up to Dragons with
90 points and both teams will be promoted to the First Division.
The Handicap Snooker Division One leaders are Spireites with 130 points with all
their matches completed. Woodside C and Woodside Peelers have completed their
matches and both have 129 points, however Woodside C have won more matches and
would finish above Peelers. Broadland C need to win their final match 12-0 to
overtake Spireites to stand any chance of becoming champions of this league.
Woodside Whirlwinds are champions of Division Two with 110 points and Canary
Social are second on 101 points but have to wait until other matches are completed to
see if they will be promoted.
Still several matches in the Billiards League need to be completed where leaders
St. Philips B are on 50 points with Spireites second on 41.

Woodside Peelers joined Spireites at the top of the Handicap Snooker Division One on 118 points after beating Broadland A 9-3 with Paul Cushion winning 3-0. Spireites drew with third place Woodside C 6-6. Woodside C went on to defeat Broadland C 7-5 giving them 117 points.

Leaders Woodside Whirlwinds triumphed 10-2 over Broadland B in the Second Division and St. Philips C beat 2nd place Woodside A 9-3 in the only two matches completed.

In the First Division Open Snooker League, second place Broadland A beat St. Philips A 7-2 and are 3 points behind leaders Woodside Warriors who did not play. Spireites A defeated third spot Spireites C 7-2 and Woodside Rockets defeated St. Philips A
8-1.

Leaders Woodside Dragons beat Attleborough 8-1 and second place Woodside Wizards 5-4 to become champions of the Second Division. Broadland Bandits defeated Gothic 6-3 and Broadland C triumphed against Spireites D 5-4.

St. Philips B remain leaders of the Billiard League after drawing with Pinebanks Exiles 2-2 giving them a 6 points lead over Spireites who beat Hethersett A 3-1.

Due to the bad weather recently the season has been extended to Friday April 13th.

Woodside Warriors, leaders of the Open Snooker League Division One, beat second
place Broadland A 6-3 and third spot Spireites C 5-4 to establish a 10 point gap at the
top of the division. Nick Spelman won both his matches 3-0 and had breaks of 97, 92
and 71 against Broadland. Broadland A defeated St. Philips A 5-4 with Steve
Waldron (Broadland) winning 3-0 and Nic Charalambous (St. Philips) also taking
maximum frames.
In the Second Division, second place Woodside Wizards routed Gothic 9-0 to give
them 84 points, 30 points behind the leaders Woodside Dragons. Broadland Bandits
beat Spireites D 5-4 and lost to Attleborough 4-5. Keith Saunders (Bandits) won both
his matches 3-0.
Broadland C defeated leaders Spireites 8-4 in the Handicap Snooker Division One
with Bob Daynes winning 3-0 for Broadland. Woodside Peelers move up to second
place following a 10-2 victory over Bayer. Three frames from Andy Bason helped
Broadland A beat St. Philips A 8-4 and St. Faiths Centre triumphed against NCC 8-4.
Woodside Whirlwinds went to the top of Division Two, level on points with
Woodside A after beating Ludham B 10-2 while Woodside A beat Wroxham 7-5 and
lost to Ludham A 3-9. Wroxham concluded their season with a 6-6 draw with Canary
Social.
In the Billiards League, leaders St. Philips B beat Gothic 4-0 and Hethersett A
defeated Pinebanks Exiles 3-1. St. Philips A triumphed against Hethersett B 4-0.
Due to the recent bad weather the season has been extended and all matches should

Spireites remain leaders of the NDBSL Handicap Snooker League Division One after defeating St. Faiths Centre 7-5. Simon Carpenter and Ray Levers both won 3-0 in their home leg before St. Faiths won 5-1 at home with Malcolm Stolly winning 3-0 and Sean Curtis 2-1. Woodside C beat Rileys 7-5 to remain in second place, 5 points behind the leaders. Woodside Peelers moved up to third spot after victory over
St. Philips A 7-5 while NCC beat Bayer 7-5. Hethersett A drew with NCC 6-6 and lost to Broadland A 2-10.
Woodside A lead the Second Division with 85 points despite losing to second place Canary Social 4-8. Woodside Whirlwinds move up to third spot, beating Ludham A 8-4. Hethersett B drew with Wroxham 6-6 and St. Philips C defeated Ludham B 8-4. Ludham A beat Broadland B 8-4.
In the Open Snooker Division One, Broadland A in second place beat Spireites A 8-1 with Graham Tacon and Steve Waldron both winning 3-0 plus Steve Waldron having breaks of 106, 68 and 44. Spireites C defeated Spireites B 5-4 and lost to Woodside Rockets 3-6.
No change at the top of Division Two as Woodside Dragons beat Gothic 9-0 and second place Woodside Wizards defeated Spireites D 7-2. Broadland C had a 5-4 victory over third spot Attleborough.
St. Philips B remain leaders of the Billiards League after victory over Hethersett B
3-1. Second place Spireites are 3 points behind the leaders after beating Broadland 4-0. Pinebanks Exiles had 2-2 draws against St. Philips A and Broadland. Hethersett A against Hethersett B also resulted in a 2-2 draw.

Leaders Woodside Dragons of the Second Division of the Snooker Open League won
their thirteenth straight victory of the season beating Broadland C 8-1 with Luke
Pinches (79 break) and Darren Rix both winning 3-0. Second place Woodside
Wizards defeated third spot Broadland Bandits 6-3 with Ben Hubbard and Dave
Roberts winning the first 2 games 3-0 each with Keith Saunders replying with 3
frames in the final game for Bandits while Attleborough beat Gothic 9-0.
Only one match played in the First Division where Woodside Rockets defeated
Broadland A 6-3.
Leaders Spireites of the Handicap Snooker League Division One beat Bayer 9-3 with
Andy Rose and Ray Levers taking all 6 frames at home. Broadland C in second place
triumphed against St. Faiths 8-4 with Bob Daynes and Luke Priestly both winning
3-0. Three frames from Levi Smith helped Woodside C defeat Broadland A 7-5.
Woodside Peelers beat Hethersett A 7-5 and St. Faiths defeated Rileys 7-5.
In the Second Division Woodside A were held to a 6-6 draw against Hethersett B and
Woodside Whirlwinds defeated second place Canary Social 7-5. There were 3-0
victories for Simon Stepney and David Church for Whirlwinds and Kevin Joyce for
Canary. Broadland B moved up the table after a 10-2 triumph over Wroxham and
Ludham B beat St. Philips C 9-3.
St. Philips B remain top of the Billiards League after a 3-1 win over Broadland and a
2-2 draw with Pinebanks Exiles. David Nichols of Broadland had breaks of 198, 108,
87,73,62,55 and 52. Second place Spireites drew 2-2 with Pinebanks Exiles as did
St, Philips A against Hethersett A. Hethersett B moved up to third spot after beating
Pinebanks Exiles 4-0 and losing to Broadland 1-3 where David Nichols (Broadland)
had breaks of 111, 101 and 81.

Woodside Warriors remain in top spot of the NDBSL Open Snooker League Division One after trouncing St. Philips B 9-0 and have opened up an 8 point gap over second place Broadland A. Broadland A defeated Spireites B 5-4 thanks to Steve Waldron winning the first three frames while achieving a break of 81. Steve Knowles (Spireites) won the final match 3-0.
In Division Two, second place Woodside Wizards lost to Attleborough 4-5 leaving them 31 points behind leaders Woodside Dragons who had no match this week. Broadland Bandits are 1 point behind Wizards with 56 points after beating Broadland C 6-3. Three frames each from Paul Parke and Dennis Simmonds gave Spireites D a victory over Gothic 7-2.
The First Division Handicap Snooker League Division One saw leaders Spireites bounce back from two defeats to beat Woodside Peelers 8-4. Broadland C remain in second place after defeating Broadland A 7-5 while Woodside C triumphed against Bayer 8-4 after Luke Pinches won 3-0 with a break of 72. St. Philips A beat Hethersett A 8-4 to move up to fourth spot.
Leaders Woodside A lost to Woodside Whirlwinds 8-4 in the Second Division with Darren Butler winning 3-0 for Whirlwinds. Canary Social consolidated second place after Andy Fidler won 3-0 to help them beat Broadland B 8-4 and Wroxham drew with bottom side Ludham B 6-6

The Handicap Snooker League Division One saw leaders Spireites endure their
second consecutive defeat after St. Philips A beat them 9-3 with Darryl Newman and
Alan Webster both winning 3-0 for Saints. Bayer defeated second place Broadland C
7-5 and Woodside Peelers moved up to third spot after beating Woodside C 7-5 where
Luke Pinches having breaks of 81 and 49 enjoyed a 2-1 win for Woodside C. Rileys
drew with Broadland A 6-6 with both teams winning the away legs 5-1. Michael
Steward (Rileys) and Roberto Facchini (Broadland) both had 3-0 victories.
Woodside A extended their lead at the top of Division Two to 10 points after victory
over Broadland B 8-4. Canary Social move up to second place despite losing to
Ludham B 5-7, with Charlie Colk securing 3 frames. Three frames from Eamonn
Tooke enabled St. Philips C to defeat Wroxham 7-5 and Woodside Whirlwinds beat
Hethersett B 7-5.
In the Billiards League, leaders St. Philips B drew with Pinebanks Exiles 2-2 with
Nathan Mann having breaks of 60, 50, 49 and 45. Pinebanks Exiles went on to beat
Hethersett A 3-1 and Gothic won their first match this season by triumphing over
Hethersett B 3-1.
Woodside Warriors beat Broadland A 5-4 and Spireites B 6-3 to lead the Open
Snooker Division One by 4 points. Nick Spelman won both his matches 3-0. Steve
Waldron won 3-0 with breaks of 86, 59, 38 and 31 in Broadland As victory against St.
Philips B 8-1. Graham Tacon also won 3-0 with breaks of 56 and 32.
Match of the week in Division Two was leaders Woodside Dragons against second
place Woodside Wizards. Luke Pinches of Dragons won the first 3 frames with a
break of 72, followed by a 2-1 win for David Church (Dragons) and Lee Hodge
(Wizards) won the final 3 frames giving Dragons a 5-4 victory. Daniel Skipper won
the first 3 frames in Broadland Bandits 6-3 triumph over Gothic while Spireites D
defeated Broadland C 6-3 with Paul Parke having a break of 65.

7-2 with Paul Gifford (Spireites) winning his match 3-0. Three frames each from
Orin Drake and Steven Knowles helped Spireites B defeat St. Philips B 8-1.
In the Second Division, Woodside Dragons stretched their lead at the top by 34
points, after beating Attleborough 8-1 with Darren Rix and Luke Pinches (60 break)
both winning 3-0. Broadland C found their form to crush Gothic 9-0 while Paul Parke
secured the first 3 frames to help Spireites D overcome Broadland Bandits 5-4. Keith
Saunders had a break of 65 in his 2-1 victory for Bandits.

In the First Division of the Open Snooker League, leaders Woodside Warriors have 53 points after beating Woodside Rockets 5-4, Spireites C 7-2 and losing to St. Philips A 3-6. Nick Spelman took maximum frames from his three games. Spireites A remain in second place on 44 points after defeating St. Philips B 7-2 and Broadland A moved into third spot with 43 points after triumphing over St. Philips A 6-3 and Spireites C 6-3.

Leaders Woodside Dragons hold a 26 points lead at the top of the Open Snooker Division Two after beating Gothic 9-0 and Broadland C 7-2. Jin Foulger won 3-0 in both matches plus 2 breaks of 56 while Luke Pinches had breaks of 65 and 54. Woodside Wizards defeated Spireites D 6-3 and Broadland C 5-4 to move up to second place.

In the Handicap Snooker League Division One, leaders Spireites had no match and stay on 67 points with second place Broadland C losing to NCC 5-7 and have 60 points. NCC have 56 points along with St. Philips A who defeated Rileys 7-5 and Woodside C who lost against Hethersett A 5-7. Woodside Peelers drew with
St. Faiths 6-6.

Division Two has new leaders in Woodside A after they beat St. Philips C 9-3, Hethersett B 7-5 and lost to Ludham A 5-7. Ludham A also beat Canary Social 7-5 to move up to second place. Jaydon Spooner won 3-0 in both matches for Ludham A. Bill Lakey and Peter Murrell both won 3-0 as Hethersett A triumphed against Ludham B 9-3.

Two 3-1 victories over Hethersett A and B keeps St. Philips B on top of the Billiards League. Hethersett A beat Hethersett B 3-1 to move up to second place. Spireites defeated St. Philips A 3-1 and St. Philips A went on to beat Pinebanks Exiles 3-1.

Woodside Dragons lead the Open League Division Two by 15 points after defeating Broadland Bandits 8-1. Impressive breaks from Luke Pinches (60) and Jin Foulger (59) saw them both secure 3-0 wins. Attleborough move up to second place above Bandits who drop to third after narrowly beating Spireites D 5-4.

In Division One Spireites A triumphed over Spireites B 7-2 with Jimmy Cross and Jamie Edwards taking maximum frames. Woodside Warriors remain top with 38 points with Spireites A going into second place on 37 points.

The Handicap Snooker Division One leaders are Spireites who remain unbeaten this season so far after beating third spot Woodside C 9-3. Shaun Savory and Dennis Hales of Spireites both won 3-0 and Luke Pinches (Woodside C) had a 88 break in the final frame in his 2-1 victory. Hethersett A defeated second place Broadland C
7-5 and fourth spot St. Philips A beat St. Faiths 7-5. Adrian Thomas and Karl Goreham both won 3-0 in the away leg as NCC triumphed 9-3 against Rileys. Broadland A held Woodside Peelers to a 6-6 draw.

In the Second Division, Canary Social moved up to second place after beating leaders Wroxham 7-5 with Simon Gooda getting the 3 important frames to give them the win. Woodside Whirlwinds go into third spot after beating Ludham B 10-2. St. Philips C beat Hethersett B 7-5 with Allen Cheetham (St. Philips) and Mervyn Tuffield (Hethersett) both winning 3-0.

Only two results from the Billiards League where Hethersett A beat Gothic 3-1 and Hethersett B defeated Pinebanks Exiles 3-1. St. Philips B remain top on 16 points with Spireites and Hethersett A both on 15 points.

Spireites beat Broadland C 8-4 in the Handicap Snooker Division One to open up a 8 points lead at the top of the table. Three frames from Dennis Hales together with Paul Parke achieving a break of 57 in his 2-1 win secured the victory for Spireites. Ray Davis and Michael Steward with 3 frames apiece helped Rileys in fourth spot defeat Hethersett A 9-3. Broadland A triumphed over St. Philips A 7-5 with Darryl Newman having a break of 52 for St. Philips. Two fixtures which resulted in 6-6 draws were NCC versus St. Faiths and Woodside Peelers versus Bayer.

In the Second Division, Woodside C moved up the second place following their victory over leaders Wroxham 9-3, a fixture that saw Lee Hodge and Matthew Ellison both winning 3-0. Ludham A are in third spot after beating Hethersett B 7-5 and Woodside Whirlwinds 7-5. Three frames from Allen Cheetham helped St. Philips C beat Woodside Whirlwinds 8-4.

St. Philips B remain top of the Billiards League by 1 point after losing to Broadland 1-3 and drawing with Gothic 2-2. David Nichols played for Broadland and had breaks of 171, 105, 55 and 52 in his victory. Spireites beat Gothic 4-0 while Hethersett A defeated St. Philips A 3-1.

The First Division of the Open Snooker League sees Woodside Warriors go top after beating Spireites A 8-1 while Spireites C moved up to second place after defeating
St. Philips B 8-1. St. Philips A played Spireites B twice in one evening with
St. Philips coming out on top by virtue of winning 6-3 and 5-4 but it was not such a successful week for St. Philips B as Woodside Rockets thrashed them 9-0.

In the Second Division Broadland Bandits moved up to second place behind Woodside Dragons despite losing to Woodside Wizards 4-5. Attleborough are in third spot after defeating Gothic 7-2.

Broadland A are the new leaders of the Open Snooker Division One, after securing
two 7-2 victories against St. Philips B and Spireites B - Steven Waldron took
maximum frames from both matches. Nick Spelman had breaks of 112 and 88 in his
3-0 win which helped second place Woodside Warriors beat St. Philips B 8-1.
Spireites A defeated St. Philips A on the final frame to win 5-4. Chris Zanone and
Sam Betts got Woodside Rockets off to a good start by winning the first two games
3-0 before Paul Gifford took the final 3 frames for Spireites C in their victory 6-3.
In the Second Division Broadland Bandits remain in second place behind Woodside
Dragons as Keith Saunders won the final 3 frames of the match to beat Broadland C
5-4. Three frames from Mark Standley secured victory for Attleborough against
Woodside Wizards 6-3 and Spireites D beat Gothic 9-0.
Seven matches completed in the Handicap Snooker Division One all ended as draws
6-6. Stephen Cole of Hethersett A playing against St. Faiths was the only 3-0 winner.
Chris Savory of Spireites had a break of 40 for a plus handicap player.
Wroxham remain leaders of the Second Division after beating Hethersett B 8-4 with
Alan March winning 3-0. Canary Social beat Hethersett B 8-4 and drew 6-6 with
Woodside A 6-6 to move up to second place. Broadland B defeated Woodside A 9-3
where Steve Johnson won 3-0 after giving his opponent a 68 start.

Joint leaders of the Open Snooker League Division One, Spireites A and Woodside
Warriors both lost this week. Spireites A were defeated by Spireites C 5-4 after Paul
Gifford won the first 3 frames of the match for the C team. Spireites B triumphed
against Warriors 5-4 after Steven Knowles took the final 3 frames of the match for
Spireites B. Reggie Edwards and Chris Zanone both won 3-0 for Woodside Rockets
in their victory over St. Philips A 8-1.
In the Second Division, leaders Woodside Dragons beat Woodside Wizards 9-0 and
Attleborough 8-1 to open up a gap of 19 points at the top of the league. Jin Foulger
had a break of 95 for Woodside Dragons. Broadland Bandits moved up to second
place after defeating Gothic 6-3 with Keith Saunders and Stuart Clarke both winning
3-0 despite Brandon Allman of Gothic taking the first three frames of the match. Paul
Parke won the final 3 frames in Spireites Ds first victory of the season against
Broadland C 5-4.
New leaders at the top of the Handicap Snooker League Division One are Spireites
who beat St. Faiths 8-4 to go onto 44 points. In second place on 42 points are
Woodside C who defeated Rileys 7-5 with Michael Hubbard winning 3-0 and Luke
Pinches having a break of 74. Dave Hanson won 3-0 to help Woodside Peelers
triumph against St. Philips A 8-4 while Bayer secured their first victory of the season

In the Second Division only two matches were completed where leaders Wroxham
were held to a 6-6 draw against Woodside Whirlwinds, also Broadland B and Ludham
A drew their match 6-6.
Only to matches were completed in the Billiards League where Hethersett B moved
up to second place behind leaders St. Philips B after beating Gothic 3-1. Spireites
collected their first victory at billiards by defeating Hethersett A 4-0.

Broadland C beat Rileys 9-3 to remain leaders of the Handicap Snooker Division One,
with Bob Daynes winning 3-0 for Broadland, putting them on 40 points. Spireites
move up to second place on 36 points following their victory over Broadland A 9-3
and drawing with Woodside Peelers 6-6. Woodside C on 35 points in third spot
defeated St. Faiths 7-5 with Ryan Smith (Woodside C) and Gareth Bartholomew
(St. Faiths) both winning 3-0. Three frames from Karl Goreham helped NCC draw
with Woodside Peelers 6-6.
Wroxham returned to the top of Division Two after beating Ludham B 8-4 and losing
4-8 to Broadland B giving them 28 points. Canary Social defeated Woodside
Whirlwinds 7-5 to go into second place on 22 points. Ludham A completed two 6-6
draws against Ludham B and St. Philips C respectively.
In the Open Snooker Division One Woodside Warriors triumphed against Broadland
A 6-3 to join Spireites A at the top of the league on 20 points. Steven Waldron of
Broadland A had the first three figure break of the season with 102. Spireites C move
up to third spot after beating St. Philips A 6-3 and Spireites B defeated St. Philips B
6-3.
Broadland Bandits move up to third spot in Division Two after beating Spireites D
5-4, with Nigel Lester winning 3-0 for Bandits. Three frames from Brandon Allman
helped Gothic defeat Broadland C 5-4.
In the Billiards League, leaders St. Philips B beat Spireites 3-1 with Nathan Mann
having breaks of 67, 51, 49 and 45. Andy Rose of Spireites had a break of 37 for a
plus handicap player. Pinebanks Exiles remain in second place after drawing with
third spot Hethersett A 2-2 while St. Philips A drew with Hethersett B 2-2.

Spireites A remain leaders of the NDBSL Open Snooker League Division One after
narrowly beating St. Philips B 5-4 while Woodside Warriors defeated Spireites C 5-4
to move into second place. Nick Spelman of Warriors had breaks of 88 and 51.
Broadland A drop down to third spot, level on points with Warriors after losing to
St. Philips A 5-4. Nic Charalambous (St. Philips A) won 3-0 plus a break of 52 and
Darren Swanston of Broadland A won 3-0. Three frames each for Reggie Edwards
(break of 49) and Sam Betts (60) helped Woodside Rockets triumph over Spireites A
7-2.
Leaders of the Second Division Woodside Dragons won their fourth match this season
against Spireites D 6-3, with David Church winning 3-0 and also achieving a break of
42 while Jin Foulger had breaks of 64 and 44. Woodside Wizards beat Gothic 8-1 and
Nigel Lester with 3 frames helped Broadland Bandits defeat Attleborough 7-2.
St. Philips B lead the Billiards League after defeating their A team 3-1 with Nathan
Mann having six breaks ranging from 107 to 42. Pinebanks Exiles remain in second
place, beating Gothic 3-1 and drawing with St. Philips A 2-2. Hethersett B drew 2-2
with Hethersett A and Spireites. Broadland triumphed against Hethersett A 3-1 with
Roger Reynolds having a break of 55 and Matthew Lyon 40 and 39.
In the Handicap Snooker League Division One all matches ended in 7-5 results.
Leaders Broadland C lost to St. Faiths and Woodside C move up to second place after
beating Broadland A, with Ryan Smith winning 3-0 for Woodside C. St. Philips A in
third spot defeated NCC with Alan Webster (St. Philips) and Kevin Blazey (NCC)
both winning 3-0. Woodside Peelers beat Hethersett A and Spireites defeated Bayer.
Woodside A went top of the Second Division after beating Woodside Whirlwinds 9-3.
Matty Ellison and Sam Betts both won 3-0 with Sam achieving a break of 65. Canary
Social drew with Broadland B 6-6. Both away legs produced 5-1 victories with
Andrew Fidler (Canary Social) and Steve Johnson (Broadland) both winning 3-0.

League where leaders Spireites A were defeated by Broadland A 5-4. Jamie Edwards
of Spireites had a break of 88 and Steve Waldron (Broadland) a break of 57.
Broadland A move up to second place. St. Philips A overcame their rivals St. Philips
B 5-4 with Nic Charalambous having a break of 82 for the A team.
In the Second Division, leaders Woodside Dragons beat Gothic 9-0 with Jin Foulger
producing breaks of 75, 73 and 40 in his match. Attleborough defeated Broadland C
5-4 and Spireites D 5-4 to move up to second place. Mark Standley (Attleborough)
and Ben Baker (Broadland C) both had 3-0 victories in their respective games.
Woodside Wizards remain in third spot after victory over Spireites D where Paul Kay
and Lee Hodge both enjoyed 3-0 wins.
The Snooker Handicap Division One sees leaders Broadland C triumph against
Broadland A 10-2, Ben Baker and Billy Bales both winning 3-0. Three frames from
Ray Davis helped Rileys defeat St. Faiths 7-5 to record their third straight victory.
Woodside C beat Bayer 9-3 to draw level on points with Rileys with 21 apiece. Luke
Pinches winning 3-0 with a break of 45. St. Philips A narrowly defeated Hethersett A
7-5 to remain in fourth spot.
Wroxham recorded their second victory to go top of Division Two after beating
St. Philips C 9-3 with Andrew Jackman and Mark Dennes both taking maximum
frames in the away leg. Woodside Whirlwinds started their season off with a triumph
over Hethersett B 7-5. Bill Lakey of Hethersett won 3-0 with Darren Butler
(Whirlwinds) achieving a 3-0 plus a break of 40 for a plus handicap player. Three
frames for Jaydon Spooner helped Ludham B to their first victory this season beating
Canary Social 7-5.

After two weeks of the Open Snooker League Spireites A lead the First Division after
victories against Woodside Warriors 6-3 and Spireites B 5-4, with Jamie Edwards of
the A side and Orin Drake the B enjoying 3-0 victories during their derby match.
Warriors themselves went on to beat St. Philips 6-3 putting them into second place.
Woodside Rockets defeated Broadland A 6-3 with Sam Betts winning 3 frames plus
making a break of 61. Spireites C beat Broadland A 7-2 with Paul Mercer and Paul
Gifford both winning 3-0.
Woodside Dragons are leaders of Division Two after winning against Broadland C
7-2 and Broadland Bandits 5-4. Luke Pinches won both his matches 3-0 and
Jin Foulger had a break of 59. Broadland C went on to defeat Woodside Wizards 7-2
with Lee Hodge and Dave Roberts taking maximum frames with Keith Saunders
replying with 3 frames for Bandits. Three frames from Jason Lincoln helped
Attleborough triumph over Gothic 6-3.
In the Handicap Division One Broadland C are leaders after beating Bayer 9-3 and
Woodside Peelers 7-5 with Ben Baker winning both his matches 3-0 plus a break of
38. Second place Rileys secured two 7-5 victories against Broadland A and Bayer.
Michael Hubbard had a plus handicap high break of 36 during his match for
Woodside C against Peelers which the C team won 7-5.
After one week of the Second Division, Woodside A had the biggest victory of the
week against Ludham B 10-2. St. Philips C beat Canary Social 8-4 and Wroxham
defeated Ludham A 7-5. Hethersett B triumphed against Broadland B 7-5 after
winning the home leg 6-0.
The Billiards League sees St. Philips B on top after victories over Broadland 4-0 and
Hethersett B 3-1. Second place Pinebanks Exiles beat Hethersett B 3-1 and lost to
Broadland 1-3.
