CORONAVIRUS UPDATE Following Government advice to avoid unnecessary social contact, the League is happy to suspend all league activity until further notice. It is hoped that the remaining fixtures and events can be completed later in the year, dependent on continuing advice. The league will convene a meeting as the time to resume activities approaches, in order to set a revised timetable and get the season completed. The Captain's Cup was, anyway, due to be postponed from this Thursday for reasons unconnected with Coronavirus, so there is no scheduled activity this week. Going forward, if teams are mutually agreeable and their venue is open for business, they may between them agree to play on the scheduled date. However, if either team feels unable or unwilling to play, this should be accepted and the game will be rescheduled as above, when the situation returns to more normal conditions. No team (or player in the case of singles/pairs matches) will be penalised for not playing a match on its due date. If you have any queries, please contact me.
