MATCH RESULTS & CANCELLED FIXTURES

Hi All
Firstly I must say this does not apply to about 95% of the league but I having problems with some teams who think they don’t have to send in match results every week I seem to be chasing more teams
Excuse are “sorry mate I lost the Card” “my dog ate the result Card “ Or “I left it behind the bar “ this is not good enough and impossible to run the league like this please can everyone sharpen up.
IT’S THE CAPTAINS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE RESULT IS SENT IN ON TIME
Also there are teams who cancel matches without telling me please let me know
As we need to change the handicaps this week I have 3 fixtures outstanding for Division 2
Anyway please can I have everyone help in this matter or you will need to find someone else to do fixtures and results next year !

Individual Knockouts Reminder All the individual knockout fixtures are on the web and have to be played with results in to me by Fri 9th February. The home player must give 2 weeks notice and 3 separate dates to the away player for the fixture, if the home player does not notify me of any contact difficulties then the away player will progress. Its the home players responsibility to submit the result and if not submitted the result will be the away player will progress. The Scratch and Scratch Plus fixtures also have a closing date of the 9th Feb 2018 and same rules apply. please don't leave your fixtures to the last moment as no extensions will be granted. Thanks

Congratulations to the winner of "The Tony Johnson Memorial Trophy" Bill Pullum

Thanks to all at old Harlow for a good days snooker, we had a few new faces and the usual suspects. The 4 most consistent players throughout the day were Bill Pullum, Keith Youell, Rob Jones and myself all keeping our lives in the early stages. The final 5 ended up as Malcolm Springham, Bill Pullum, Dave Miles, Rob Jones and myself, with the final 2 ending and with Bill Pullum and Myself with Bill running out a well deserved winner 2-1 in the final.
