sean  drew (labour 'A')	Posted on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 rule 2a) i - states that whenever a newcastle united game is being shown live on tv on a match night, then all fixtures are automatically postponed, unless the 2 captains of the teams involved decide that they want to go ahead with the fixture. can we all make our teams aware of this situation - the comrades have already invoked this rule, so their fixture against heaton meadowfield is not taking place. we (labour 'A') will also be postponing our fixture against the liberal 'A' team due to the fact that the bar is very busy on such occasions and not suitable for a snooker match. i mention this mainly because i assumed that newcastle games led to an 'opt-out' situation, but the rule clearly states that it's an 'opt-in' could members please make me aware of which fixtures are taking place and forward the results by the usual methods - ty
sean  drew (labour 'A')	Posted on Saturday, November 29, 2008 if possible, could we please try to complete the re-arranged fixtures before the next meeting (this allows the christmas break to be used) labour 'A' v EEL 'A' has been re-arranged for tues. 30th DEC (pending confirmation) could the relevant persons please make me aware of the intended dates of any other re-arranged fixtures and forward the results via the usual channels.
