on Friday, March 24, 2006 The Cambridgeshire County Billiards Championship will take place on Sunday 9th April at Cambridge Snooker Centre. Last year the tournament was won by Jimmy Chambers. Tournament will start 11am. Matches 1 hour. More details to follow. |

on Sunday, April 9, 2006 The Cambridgeshire County Championship has been retained by Jimmy Chambers, who defeated Greg English in the final. RESULTS QUARTER FINALS Greg English 337 (51,51,42) v Dave Burch 120 James Norman 139 v Ted Newton 115 Martin Gawthrop 377 (72) v Keith Lloyd 164 Jim Chambers 283 (59) v Ron Agnew 190 (71) SEMI FINALS Greg English 318 (62,47) v James Norman 96 Martin Gawthrop 235 (75) v Jim Chambers 248 (50,52) FINAL Greg English 164 v Jim Chambers 241 The Plate comp was won by Ron Agnew, beating Steve Lock in the final. FINAL Ron Agnew 283 (60,40) v Steve Lock 168 The Suffolk County Championships was held on the same day at Newmarket and was won by Scott Nevard, who beat Stevie Kerr in the final 241 - 221. |

Entry fee £7 No table charges. All matches 1 hour duration. PLATE COMPETITION FOR 1st MATCH LOSERS.
