Update from Tony Rinder regarding Glynís funeral - Hi all, Glyn's funeral will be Friday 19th July at 1.15 at Carleton Crematorium followed by refreshments at Norbreck Club. The family request family flowers only, donations to Trinity Hospice Bispham. Tony

It is with sadness that I convey the news of the passing of our good friend Glyn Williams.
Glyn did not recover from the brain haemorrhage he suffered and passed away peacefully last night (Sun 30th) with his family alongside, at The Royal Preston Hospital.
The family, in particular Lynda, have requested that they are given some time to come to terms with their tragic loss, before welcoming visitors. If you wish to send condolences please text Glynís son Neil on 07971246095, also any cards not sent direct can be left at Norbreck club and I shall collect and deliver periodically.

Our thoughts and love are with Glyn, Lynda, his sons and family and friends at this sad time.
I am sad to report the passing of another of our snooker league members. Nigel Clift from Cleveleys Park Club passed away last Friday. The funeral will take place on Monday 8th July, 10.30 at Carleton Crem - 27/6/19
I can now confirm that Alan Parkinsonís funeral will take place on Tue 2nd July, 1.15pm at Carleton Crematorium - 19/6/19
Iím sad to report the passing of Alan Parkinson from Carleton Bowling. I am awaiting details of the funeral & will post on here as soon as I know any more - 18/6/19
With the season now over Graham & I need a list of all players coming to the Presentation Night & which team they belong to! Tickets are £10, although Team Cup Winners are free (unless theyíve won something with another team). I also need Captains to vote for Captain of the year, the shortlist is any of the top 3 in any Division or Team Cup Winners (email to follow ASAP). The final handicap changes have now been made & should be used for the Semi Finals & Final of the Team Knockout. Just a reminder that semis will be played as they have been drawn & the Finals will be played next week (W/C 22/4), all at the Norbreck Bowling Club on their respective nights/afternoon.

Handicaps have been adjusted tonight (25/2/19). Captains, please check that yours look correct & that anyone over the max has been knocked back to the max.

Captains - the Handicaps have been adjusted today (17/12). Please ensure you use the new ones for this weeks Team Cup Matches.
Captains/Delegates - I have just e-mailed an Agenda for the Interim Meeting which takes place this Weds, 5th Dec, 7pm at Cleveleys Legion. Remember, all Clubs must be represented.
Captains/Delegates - further to my message below, the handicap issue should now be resolved. Please ensure you check them & let me know asap if they look incorrect. If it looks wrong, work out what it should be manually & play them off that until I sort it. Ta, Roy - 30/10/18
Captains/Delegates - there is an issue with the handicap adjustment. A few Captains have reported players handicaps not adjusting. The website administrator is looking into this. In the mean-time, please ensure you check your players handicaps are correct before this weeks games. If they are not, please work out their correct handicap manually for now & play them off that. The Draw for the Singles & Doubles Competitions can now be found on the Tuesday page on the 'Documents' link. Unfortunately there was not enough interest to run separate Vets Competitions this year. If I have missed anyone please let me know ASAP!

Entry for the Singles & Doubles Comps is now open. Singles is £5, doubles is £6 a pair. Please let your Captain know if you wish to enter. Deadline for entries is 23rd Sep. Monies are to be received before you play your first match, which is likely to have a deadline of 31st Oct.
Message from Glyn Williams:- The funeral of Richard Purnell will be held at Carleton crematorium on Tuesday 4th September at 1.15pm, Can you please circulate all of our snooker teams in case that they may wish to attend his funeral,
I am sad to report the passing of last seasons Merit Award Winner, Richard Purnell. Richard represented Norbreck with distinction, particularly last season, when he was right up there in the averages, despite health & personal issues. At this stage I donít know too many details but as soon as I hear anything regarding funeral arrangements etc I will post on here.
