So just in brief regarding what was discussed at meeting last (meeting held at westfield club 18/10/23 at 7pm)

League will resume WC 6/11/23

Home nights

Greencroft - Wednesday
Blaydon Staffs - Wednesday
Westfield - Wednesday
Sunniside - Thursday
Prudhoe – Monday
Spring bank - Wednesday

Rules of league

League games

3 games of singles (1 point per win)
1 games of doubles (2 points per win)

Team Games are to be played Monday - Thursday that same week

If your unbale to play that week (and the opposing team choses not to re-schedule) the cancelling team will forfit 5-0 result

All singles/doubles/cup/over 50s are to be played in timescale given - anyone who fails to adhere to this will be removed from competition

First round runners up of singles/doubles/over 50s will be entered into "Don Wears Cup" and will continue as singles competition

All games in over 50s / singles will be best of 3 (early rounds), semi finals are best of 5 and final is best of 5

All breaks count, regardless of competition

All score cards must be sent to Steve Brewis within 24 hrs of game bein completed

KO CUP

KO format has changed and will now be ;

3 x games of singles ( 1 point per win)
1 x game of doubles ( 1 point per win)

In the event where the score is tied (2-2) - the team captains will pick one player each from their team to complete the "decider" - resulting in 1 point per win

Monies

All monies paid into league will be paid out (minus engraving, website etc)

All receipt for monies paid out will be provided and remaining monies will be paid out in prize money

Any Other Business

Each team will play each other home and away twice (same as last season)

Eddie has donated a cue that will be sold and monies raised will be added to prize fund

All Finals will now start at 7pm (not 7:30pm as previous)

George Jardine trophy to be re-named Gerry Dodd trophy
