on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 This year we've created three new events on the World Seniors Tour, we hope that many amateur players over 40 will want to enter multiple qualifiers BUT we understand that not everyone can afford to play in all the events. I'm launching an initiative for you to take to your club owner where a competition can be held in your club with 2 winners going forward to represent your club in your chosen World Seniors Tour qualifier. If your club runs a competition to help promote the main qualifiers I will discount that club 2 places with. So for example, our first event is the UK seniors. Your club would run two competitions for over 40’s (one scratch one handicap) to win 2 places in one of the 4 the Uk Seniors Qualifiers. They can charge whatever entry they like, they can even make it free entry if they want a busy bar sales day. They can pay prize money out if they want. The only costs would be I UK entry at full price £75 + one entry at 50% discount £37.50 = £112.50 instead of £150 In affect the club would have two representatives going forward to a qualifier with a chance to win £500 then get to Redhill to take on Jimmy and Hendry for £7500 So whats in it for your club? That's the first question you will get. Well apart from people in the club for the event spending money, we’d also promote the club itself on our social media which can’t be underestimated given our huge amount of followers, Please note the winner of your club qualifier does not go to the final stages, in affect you are winning a place in one of the 3 qualifiers.
